What you’ll be doing - Job Responsibilities:
- Managing the restoration of commercial properties from initial assessment through project completion.
- Proactively seeking and pursuing leads for potential mitigation projects to generate new business.
- Developing, monitoring, and managing project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Using specified estimating software as required, Clerk of the Works + Xactimate, to job estimates.
- Utilizing all software programs necessary for job estimating + job management.
- Coordinating and allocating resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, for efficient project execution.
- Conducting thorough damage assessments to determine the scope of required restoration work.
- Ensuring all restoration activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes and environmental standards.
- Monitoring the quality of work performed by contractors, subcontractors, and in-house crews to meet ServiceMaster’s standards and client expectations.
- Leading and managing a team of technicians and project staff, providing direction, support, and training as needed.
- Responding to emergencies promptly, coordinating rapid response efforts to mitigate damage and initiate restoration processes.
- Maintaining professional communication with customers, adjusters, and colleagues in person, over the phone, and virtually.
- Preparing documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures to ensure insurance reimbursement.
- Assigning work orders to direct reports and subcontractors, approving time off, and participating in corrective discussions with department management.
- Keeping detailed records of personnel, resources, and billable events for projects.
- Assist in the collect of work authorizations and deductibles.
- Utilizing company-designated software (e.g., Restore, Outlook) for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
- Documenting essential notes and communication in Restore, including weekly updates and job photos.
- Reviewing final estimates to ensure completeness and compliance with company standards.
- Managing customer service issues and complaints, documenting actions and resolutions.
- Understanding and meeting company cycle times and service level agreements (SLAs) for each job and phase.
- Conducting Client Care Calls to maintain communication with customers and, when necessary, adjusters.
- Are highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members.
- Have experience in commercial mitigation and restoration projects.
- Demonstrate leadership ability, business acumen, and adaptability.
- Possess strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and safety protocols.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications and industry-specific software (e.g., Restore).
- Have experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resources efficiently.
- High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience preferred.
- 2-10+ years of experience in project management, specifically in commercial mitigation.
- Ability to pass background and pre-employment drug screening.
- A valid Oregon Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Adherence to ServiceMaster’s Zero Tolerance policy and other personnel policies.
- Base Annual Salary: $50k - $60k, depending on experience.
- Impressive Monthly Bonus / Commission Structure – with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $5k-$30k+ annually
