- Assist the Reconstruction Manager with coordinating reconstruction projects from start to completion.
- Communicate with homeowners, property managers, insurance representatives, subcontractors, and vendors regarding project status and scheduling.
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, material deliveries, inspections, and other project activities.
- Visit job sites to monitor progress, workmanship, and project needs.
- Help ensure work is being completed according to the approved scope and estimate.
- Identify potential changes in scope and communicate them to the Reconstruction Manager.
- Assist with obtaining subcontractor bids and material pricing.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including photos, notes, schedules, work orders, and project updates.
- Help track project timelines and follow up on outstanding items to prevent unnecessary delays.
- Communicate with customers throughout the reconstruction process and help address questions or concerns.
- Assist with project completion, final walkthroughs, punch-list items, and closeout documentation.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, insurance professionals, and other members of the ServiceMaster team.
- Assist the Reconstruction Manager with additional duties as needed to keep projects organized and moving forward.
- Previous experience in construction, restoration, remodeling, project coordination, or a related field is preferred.
- General knowledge of residential construction and repair processes.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable communicating with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and insurance professionals.
- Ability to identify problems and help develop practical solutions.
- Basic computer and technology skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel locally to job sites as needed.
