This position requires in-office attendance. Candidates must be located within the greater Salem area or be willing to relocate to the area.
***This position requires a minimum of 5 years of construction project management or construction operations leadership experience. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.***
- Oversee job distribution and assignment across the division, matching the right crews and project managers to each project
- Run weekly division meetings and lead operational reviews with project managers and estimators
- Partner with estimators to review project scopes, budgets, and profitability targets before and during jobs
- Identify and drive process improvements that reduce waste and increase division margin
- Monitor active projects for schedule adherence, quality standards, and client satisfaction
- Support project managers with problem-solving on complex or escalated jobs
- Track KPIs and report division performance to the Operations Manager
- Help onboard, coach, and develop field staff and project management team members
- Coordinate with mitigation, administration, and sales departments for seamless job handoffs
- Step in as acting division lead when the Operations Manager is unavailable
- 5+ years of construction project management or construction operations leadership experience
- Proven experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously, including scheduling, budgeting, job costing, subcontractor coordination, and client communication
- Strong administrative and operational management experience — not solely field supervision
- Experience overseeing project financials, timelines, documentation, and team accountability
- Ability to lead both field personnel and project management staff in a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong working knowledge of estimating, project workflows, and operational efficiency
- Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with construction management, scheduling, and project tracking software
- Restoration industry experience (fire, water, or post mitigation reconstruction)
- Familiarity with Xactimate estimating software, or similar
- Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant management role
