Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable, motivated individual who works well with others. We are seeking an experienced estimator that has worked in the Restoration/Reconstruction field and has experience in Xactimate. This person needs to be familiar with the insurance world as well as the construction world. The right individual is detail oriented, self - motivated, responsible, and manages time well.

Responsibilities:

· Write accurate and detailed Xactimate estimates for restoration and repair estimates

· Meet with customer and or adjuster to walk job site, creating scope while gathering all necessary information on site for measurements, notes, plans, photos, signed documentation, and materials for inputting into software

· Accurately communicate with customers and adjusters the scope and expectations of repairs while understanding the customer's individual needs.

· Ability to connect with property owners, reassuring them in their time of crisis, exemplifying a caring and empathetic nature with confidence knowing you can help them through this process

· Clearly communicate with Project Managers the scope and details of the projects

· Cultivate good, strong relationships with adjusters and insurance companies

· Work with integrity and responsibility at all times

· Attend required meetings and all necessary training

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2 years Reconstruction estimating for water, fire, contents, or trauma damage

· Xactimate proficiency is essential

· Experience with Symbility is preferable

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

· Strong analytical and organizational skills

· Proficient computer skills, with ability to learn new software

· Ability and willingness to follow company safety standards and procedures

 
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Inspect and scope jobs onsite-and work with Project Manager/ Crew Chief/ Lead Tech on scope of job
  • Document loss with clear and descriptive job photos and upload into operating system/software
  • Writes reconstruction estimates using Xactimate and other estimating software
  • Communicates conversations and key information on the job using the notes feature in required software
  • Estimates using carrier audit standards and manages the estimate based on feedback from client and customer
  • Communicates with project manager/lead tech to ensure all required documentation is complete (photos, notes and documents signed)
  • Determine labor and equipment costs
  • Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing
  • Communicate w/ insurance companies, and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner and acts as a liaison 
  • Manage all estimate documents and assess project risks
  • Review quotes and estimates with the construction project team
  • Addresses estimate exceptions in a timely manner

Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
