Position Summary:
The Mitigation/Restoration Project Manager at ServiceMaster Restoration is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing property restoration projects from start to finish. This position ensures that projects related to water, fire, mold, and storm damage are completed on time, within budget, and according to company and industry standards. The Project Manager serves as the main point of contact for customers, insurance representatives, and internal teams—delivering consistent communication, superior service, and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage multiple mitigation and restoration projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer expectations are met.
· Conduct job site assessments, develop scopes of work, and create estimates using company-approved software and pricing guidelines.
· Coordinate with mitigation supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
· Perform regular project inspections for progress tracking, quality assurance, and safety compliance.
· Maintain effective and transparent communication with property owners, insurance adjusters, and internal staff.
· Document work progress, job notes, and changes to scope using ServiceMaster’s digital platforms (e.g., DASH, Encircle, or similar).
· Review project costs, invoices, and change orders to maintain profitability and alignment with financial goals.
· Lead coordination meetings for project updates, issue resolution, and workflow consistency.
· Support training and development for field teams to enhance quality and performance.
· Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, OSHA safety requirements, and ServiceMaster policies.
· Handle emergency response duties and participate in on-call rotation when required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
· 3–5 years of project management experience in property restoration, construction, or emergency mitigation.
· IICRC certifications preferred (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, etc.).
· Strong understanding of restoration processes, insurance claims, and job costing.
· Proven leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities.
· Proficiency in restoration management and estimating software (Xactimate, DASH, Encircle, etc.).
· Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality control.
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including after-hours emergencies or disaster response events.
