Oversee all reconstruction projects from planning through completion.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff.
- Ensure all work meets industry standards, building codes, and company quality expectations.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and workmanship.
- Lead and support reconstruction staff, including project managers, estimators, and field technicians.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and training to ensure team success.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and safety‑focused work environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for reconstruction clients.
- Communicate project updates, timelines, and expectations clearly and professionally.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Work closely with mitigation teams to ensure smooth project handoffs.
- Prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate or similar estimating software.
- Review and approve project budgets, change orders, and invoices.
- Track job costs and profitability, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Assist with insurance adjuster communication and documentation.
- Ensure all reconstruction activities comply with OSHA standards, local building codes, and company policies.
- Maintain proper documentation, permits, and inspection records.
- Promote a culture of safety across all job sites.
- 5+ years of experience in construction, restoration, or reconstruction project management.
- Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial construction practices.
- Proficiency with Xactimate (or willingness to learn quickly).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Experience in the restoration industry (water, fire, mold, storm).
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, etc.).
- Experience working with insurance carriers and adjusters.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
