We are seeking "Skilled" and "Unskilled" workers to join our industry leading Restoration and Reconstruction Team.
You will be providing surgical demolition and disassembly of building materials such as walls, ceilings,, floors and woodwork.  You will be providing detailed cleaning services as well as placing specialty equipment in residential and commercial settings. This is a great opportunity to join a great team that rewards strong work ethic, willingness to learn and attention to detail. Construction skills are required for a skilled applicant but this is a
great first work experience for highly motivated individual.

Who we are:  ServiceMaster of Greater  Pittsburgh is a market leading "Specialty Cleaning, property restoration and repair firm providing service to homes and businesses that have  been  damaged by fire, water, smoke, floods and storms. Our company located in Oakmont Pennsylvania but serving the entire Western Pa. area was founded in 1981.  We enjoy a very recession proof business that provides very steady employment to a passionate team that enjoys "Helping Other's in Time of Need".   We provide training from entry level to advanced experienced technicians looking for a new and challenging opportunity.

What we do: We provide specialty cleaning, sanitizing, deodorizing and drying services to property that experience damages from fire, smoke, water, flood and storm. We also provide complete reconstruction and repair services to those damaged properties.  We are Western Pennsylvania located but service commercial projects in entire Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland area as well as national response to properties damaged by hurricanes and other disasters. We work on those materials affected by various events to  first restore and then
if needed replace building components.

What we  are looking for in a new employee:

  • Carpentry or construction background help
  • Physical stamina to work in the fast paced restoration construction environment 
  • Attention to detail with focus on completing assigned tasks safely
  • Posses a positive attitude and ability to work as a team
  • History of outstanding attendance with little or no  Call Offs from work
  • " If you regularly call off from work please do not apply"
  • Willingness to learn and advance in a career not just a job
  • Workers with a clean driving record to drive our company vehicles to job sites
  • Personable workers who can communicate with customers as well as team members
  • Familiar with construction related tools

Position Requirements:
  • Must have a valid and insurable Pa Drivers License
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check
  • Must be able to pass drug panel screening
  • Must be able to lift and carry 70 lbs
  • Must be able climb ladder to 10 ft
  • Must be able to walk, crawl and stoop for extended period of time
  • Must be able follow both verbal and written directions 
  • Must be able to be on time for work shifts with very limited call offs
  • Must be willing to participate in regular after workhours on call shifts 
  • Must be willing to work in variety of work conditions including inside, outside, environments with possible limited heat or conditioned air.
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
