- Retrieve work orders, review the assigned route, and ensure the necessary equipment and supplies are loaded onto the truck before heading to the job site.
- Arrive at job sites on time and professionally represent the company.
- Explain the water mitigation process and next steps to customers, using company-provided materials as a guide, with or without a supervisor present.
- Execute water damage restoration tasks, including water extraction, content pack-outs, removal and disposal of non-salvageable materials, light demolition, and minor repairs as directed by the supervisor.
- Follow company protocols and industry standards to complete assigned jobs while maintaining quality control.
- Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment, making necessary daily modifications based on moisture readings.
- Conduct daily inspections and document job progress, ensuring proper drying and mitigation procedures are followed.
- Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and vehicles.
- Obtain customer signatures for job completion approval and request payments when applicable.
- Address customer concerns professionally and escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor as needed.
- Accurately document job details, take photos, and complete necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and insurance requirements.
- Previous experience in water damage restoration is preferred.
- IICRC WRT / ASD certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawlspaces, basements).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work on-call for emergency services (nights and weekends as needed).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Must pass a background check.
- Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is required.
- Express or exchange ideas with others quickly, receive and act on detailed information given.
- For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face
- Use visual acuity to perform detail-oriented activities
- Be exposed to various inside and outside working conditions: The change of environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
