Job Shift:
This position is scheduled between 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends.
GENERALSUMMARY 

Under the direct supervision of the Mitigation Manager, our Disaster Restoration Project Manager in Lexington, KY will be responsible for all key metrics of the Mitigation Department at the Lexington branch. Effective communication with our customers, insurance adjusters, restoration crew, and management team will be critical.  The DR PM will ensure strict adherence to company policies and processes IAW all IICRC and insurance carriers’ guidelines.

 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Manage jobs to set production labor and GM% goals.
  • Manage crew time on jobs including overtime using QB Time. 
  • Review daily notes in CRM system by work crews for your jobs. 
  • Review drying progress in MICA, deodorization effectiveness & redecoration needed. 
  • Write and submit estimates for work performed using Xactimate and/or Symbility.
  • Coordinate production crews for emergency responses; respond to and evaluate property for best stabilization response.
  • Perform final walkthrough with Customer. 
  • Obtain Certificate of Satisfaction and Letter of Recommendation on all large losses.
  • Assist in collection of payment on your assigned jobs per established procedures.
  • Responsible for training and development of direct reports through established career paths.
  • Obtain and retain required career path certifications as requested by the company; enrollment and/or membership fees will be provided.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS 

  • 5+ Years of experience in Mitigation. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents. 
  • Experience with database software, computers, and smart phones. 
  • IICRC Certifications a plus: WRT (Water Restoration Technician), FSRT (Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician) and ASD (Applied Structural Drying)
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Perform all job assignments in accordance with task specifications and standard operating procedure. Work is to be performed efficiently and to ServiceMaster standards of quality. 
  • Work to ensure the safety of all company personnel as well as customers. 
  • Ensure all work complies with OSHA safety standards.
  • Assist in reduction and control of all company expenses. 
  • Work On-Calls as assigned.
  • Provide backup support to other production managers and Scheduling Department.
  • Attend and contribute to all meetings.
  • Ensure readiness with all required tools, equipment, infrared, safety equipment, paperwork, etc. 
  • Inform immediate supervisor of all time off required by submitting day off request form.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

  • Must frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or grasp, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, smell and carry up to 10 lbs. 
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 
  • Occasionally required to lift and carry anything over 25 lbs. The heaviest item usually pushed or pulled is a dehumidifier weighing 60-70 lbs. 
  • No special vision requirements. 
  • Work in environment with no heat or electricity. Exposure to loud equipment and varying temperatures.
