We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Restoration Technician to support residential and commercial restoration projects. This role involves performing restoration tasks, monitoring job progress, documenting work, and communicating professionally with customers throughout the restoration process.
- Travel to job sites with the proper equipment and supplies
- Perform restoration tasks related to water, fire, smoke, and mold damage, including extraction, demolition, light construction, and contents handling
- Monitor drying progress and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain job quality, safety standards, and productivity
- Communicate processes, timelines, and next steps to customers in a professional manner
- Document job progress with notes, photos, and records using mobile devices
- Inspect completed work, obtain customer approvals, and assist with payment collection when required
- Properly use, maintain, and report issues with tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- Communicate daily job updates, issues, and customer concerns with supervisors
- Previous restoration or construction experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and customer service skills
- Ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable using tablets or mobile devices for documentation
- Willingness to maintain a professional appearance and follow safety guidelines
- Industry certifications are a plus but not required
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 70 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crawl, and work in physically demanding conditions
- Work may take place indoors and outdoors, in varying temperatures
- Must be able to safely wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators
